i think its so unfair that last year when i did gcse history, it was the hardest paper in 10 years

and this year, i could have sat the exam no problem without even revising and got an A

i actually had a look at this years paper when i was in my AS history class today, and was like whattttt, thats so easy

rant over!!

but do you not think its unfair?

It's the same every year, the people who come up with the exam's always seem to make them hard one year and then slightly easier the next year.

Apparently the exams I'm sitting in the next few days were hard last year so I'm praying they are easier this year :P

If it was the hardest in 10 years then they would have dropped the grade boundaries unlike if it was an easy exam then the grade boundaries would be a lot higher.

yea, normally a C is 110 or something, they had to drop it too 80 last year haha

it actually was ridiculus, the questions were worded really wrongly and it threw alot of people off

i mean like, people who got 90/90 in their history as modules didnt even get an A in gcse :p

Unless her exam board is CCEA then she's lying. The earliest History exam of all exam boards is History Paper 1 sat this morning, with CCEA being the awarding body.

Admittedly I didn't read, because I hadn't refreshed the page while I was checking the exam timetables.

Either way what I said wasn't wrong, because your exam board was the CCEA as I suggested (and thus it was sat today). (Do a search on NICCEA and you are instead given the CCEA website... hence the reason the UK interboard timetable I provided a link to shows CCEA exam dates, not NICCEA.)

i only do 3 subjects, then a subject on top which is worth a C if you pass it

i thought gcse's were hard, but looking back, they were a doddle lol!

O god I know. I've only got my AS History exam now but yeah, so much work to do. I think I'm going to drop one for A2 as I actually want to have a life.
