i'm interested in starting up my own online company, but im in need of ideas of what to sell, can be anything reasonable (dont say cars or anything like that)
just something simple and cheap.

You can intergrate cafepress with your website, why dont you make some cool looking t-shirts. To sell? all you need to do is create the graphics =]

or same as above but people send what you want you charge £5 plus what ever the t-shirt cost on cafepress.

Emm, i'm no good at this stuff, but I may be able to help if you give me some info on :

Target audience
Who do you want to sell too, Kids, teens, adults ? Whichever one you choose will have different possibilities for products to sell. And remember, some will have more money than others.

Price
How much are you willing to spend on whatever your spelling, would it possibly be in the 'price range' of your target audience, then how much profit are you willing to make.

Advertising
Once again, this relies on your target audience. Theres no point selling vintage cars for older people, and advertising on Habbo etc. So if you were targeting teens, you could advertise here etc.

You can see there are loads of projects / companies whatever you want to call them on habboxforum opening, so why don't you do mousemats for them?
Like they'll give you info, and you print however many, I don' know if it will work but some might want it to use for competitions, advertsing etc.
