K. I'm getting this guy to make a PC for me, mainly because I'm an idiot with the hardware side of computers, and I want the best machine for the littlest of money.
Core 2 Duo @ 3.2GHz
2GB RAM (or 4GB for an extra £35)
500GB HDD
DVD-RW
7600GT graphics card
It'll come to £400. Add £25 for him to actually make it for me.
Deal?

I just built a:
Core 2 Quad
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
Antec Gaming Case
and it came to £540 overall, and that was without a monitor, keyboard/mice, graphics card and software.

What are you going to use it for?
Media?
Gaming?
Surfing?

Is that refering to a certain somebody called 'Darren'? :P

Ontopic: The graphics card isn't that great.. but unless you're playing games like gears of war, crysis and other new games then you should be ok.

Yep that is my specs that Wootzeh has posted xD
I run a 7950GT 512MB and that is ok for high-spec games such as CMR: Dirt :)

Listening to music, MSN, surfing and playing Football Manager/Guild Wars. The guy I'm getting this from I know in real life, he says it'll do the job fine. Even if it doesn't i'll upgrade.
I thought it was good value for money myself, need second oppinions though:D
The graphics card won't be good for up-to-date gaming but apart from that it's a decent deal.

What? That's not gonna run real high spec games properly.

Get a better graphics card, I managed to get hold of a Geforce 8500GT for £25 and when overclocked it's ace!

The 7600GT is faster than the 8500GT.

Then get an 8600GT? They don't cost that much more.
If you want the best gaming performace, get an 8800GT.

I'd go for an 8800GT any day - it's by no means top gun anymore but it's cheap(ish) and it packs a lot of power.
