My cousin was speaking to me the other day, and he sounded proper different. I asked him what was wrong, he said his throat was quite sharp and that he could see his "Adam's Apple" sticking out when he talked ALOT.

Is his voice breaking?
He sounded proper different.

Yeah his voice is breaking, when your Adams Apple starts to show it means your voice is on the urge of breaking.

Totally agree - I never understand why people have to post negatively like that. Anyway, voice breaking can take a long time so just go with the flow!

Agree but spoken words are transient and not there for the next week either so it can be more upsetting :)

Sounds like his voice is breaking :) Mine has broke over a period of months I think, didn't happen all of a sudden.

When it breaks it breaks, you'll not actually notice it lol. From time to time you'll get a squeak, I do sometimes and I'd say my voice has broken quite a bit even though I can still go very high lol. Shame on me.

If people taunt you about it, ignore them because it'll happen to the eventually. If it's already happened to them, then just deafen them with your highly squeaky voice, aha.

I didn't really notice when my voice broke, it just happened lol, although everyone else seemed to notice. I can't even remember when it broke, probably a few years ago now.

I THINK mines broke. I haven't really noticed even though when I was like 14 my Aunty was like 'Your voice is breaking' and I was like 'Is it?' But when I listened to myself on a recording I can tell. I'm 17 now :P

Quick answer:
Yes.

It's likely that his voice will be up and down for a while - so make fun of him while you can!

you what?

It means that unlike real life what you post is here for ever but words spoken in real life or in a chat room are not and can be forgotten or ignored more easily and can therefore be less upsetting.
