Anyone else got their maths calculator exam tomorrow? Not looking forward to it as the non-calc paper (edexcel) was easy so this one is likely to be harder. I managed to revise trig so not too worried about that. Oh yeah mine is in the afternoon (thank god :eusa_pray) so I can have a lay-in which means I don't have to worry about going to bed early and I can do some last minute revision in the morning. :blue_smil

non-calcs are normally easiest.
I'll do some revision in the morning or go to the revision session thing at school.
There best be a 7mark simultaneous equation one like in our mock. I like them :)
I already have a mymaths, login for our school :P
I just don't find that useful Thanks anyway :)

We've basically been taught whole year on mymaths, shame our teacher isn't the best because I think I could do so much better with an enthusiastic teacher.

I'm sure you'll live.
Would have prefered the exam in the morning, so I have longer to revise for Eng Lang and History in the afternoon but ahh well! Them to need a fair bit of revision too.
before my maths exam, i have to do a resistant materials one..
i hate having two on one day, i wish it was more spread out..

Wow! I wasn't sure if I knew trigonometry that well, so I went to this site: http://www.gcse.com/maths/trigonometry.htm and it's REALLY helpful! It re-taught me all the things I thought I forgot and made the whole subject very easy to understand!
I feel a lot more confident for tomorrow now :)

What sort of things will it be covering? I've done trigonometry, reverse trigonometry, powers, standard form, percentages, roots, decimals, fractions and other stuff.

First couple of question on the edexel foundation paper could be done by people in year 3 it was that easy but at the end or near the end of the paper i didnt not understand most if the questions on the algebra stuff like:
7y= something something, i went completely blank :(

Both papers were way to easy. Just got back from doing the higher paper (edexcel) and I could answer every question apart from the last one, which means I've only lost 3 marks.

...if you haven't got any of the ones you answered wrong.

I knew how to do them so i'm quite confident I've got most of them right, unless ive made some silly mistakes (which i usually do).
