Hi,

Just wondering if habbo radios such as Clubhabbo and Habboxlive are registered with PPLUK and pay royalties for the music they stream. If not then do you have to signup or is it like over a certain number of listeners?

Broadcasting online technically requires a payment for each song a website streams. So i want to know if those two major websites are registered with PPLUK

No, they don't.
Legally they should but they decide not to.

The government/PPL aren't that bothered about small shoutcasts, they are more concerned about large sharing/streaming sites.

So for example clubhabbo don't pay royalties, but if they had about 500 listenners they would?
