Just so you know your first stage won't be seeing the judges, its producers first... Imo you should expect to come out with nothing and if you get through its a bonus, because its all experience in the end.

i know you have to go through like 5 stages on X factor. I still think you can just turn up because you get people who are like #100124

Nope. A mate went last year, producers stage is in Nov. of this year (thats why applying closes in October sometime) and they send you a letter by February to tell you if you have made it to the judges or not. Its all the same on these programs. You will never just go and see the judges. At the #100124 comment, they numbers are given at the first stage with the producers and you keep it all the way through. (Lol, I sound like a right gimp here knowing this, but someones got too!;))

yup, i recently went to a X Factor audition and you know on the show they show everyone going 'We have the X Factor' and there's like thousands? Thats actually filmed on the first producers stage (because there is two on X Factor) so there is thousands but like about 500-1,500 (estimate) actually see the judges.

You get put through to the auditions after auditioning infront of someone else (I think atleast)

The trick is to be rubbish and they'll put you through then infront of the judges be good. You saw all the rubbish acts in the auditions? They were just for the entertainment of viewers :P
