Fantastic idea.
The old system was awful i would get a crappy ready made email - I was like THAT ISNT WHAT I ASKED!
Depends who the support staff are, I'll tell you whether it's a good idea when Mr.MAD announces that.

Sounds good, bit pricy though, would never pay that much for a support system lol.
At least this will guarantee responses now.

It's a fantastic idea and is definitely a step forward from the old Contact Us system. :)
Let's just hope that they choose the right people to staff it, eh? ;)

Reliable and Trustworthy. ;)

There isn't any member of habbox staff that I know of who isn't reliable and trustworthy, so I have no idea what you're all talking about. The old system didn't work, everyone knew that, so we got a new one to sort it out. Anyone at habbox is capable of staffing it, so I don't see where the debate is tbh.

I wasnt trying to say there is a member who isnt, i was just adding that the 2 main things they need to be is trustowrthy and reliable :D Didnt mean it to corse offence.

One word, "Elkaa".
Nice step forward but ---MAD--- do you mean "purchased" or planning to?
I think spelling mistake, just thought I would say.

Yes it did, he meant that he'd rather pay for something than get it free because of the quality.
I think I should be support staff tbh.

Although I agree with you, some staff are more reliable and trustworthy than others. It would need to be members who are online often and who will dedicate a few hours a day to helping out the community - Not everyone would be able to commit such time. I've been told by a pretty reliable source that you will be able to apply for a job in this new department so it will be interesting to see who gets it. :)

I think you have to define the line between "reliable and trustworthy" and "active" because they're both different things. For example, nvr is reliable and trustworthy but isn't active during the daytime in the UK, which means he can't be gotten hold of easily. That doesn't make him unreliable, just not active at the right times. I understand what you're saying though, it will have to be manned by people with dedication and time, but I think there's an abundance of those sorts of people around here so it shouldn't be an issue :)
Galaxay, I'd advise dropping that line of posting before you land yourself in trouble. Elkaa was indeed "underperforming" because he was overstretched and had too many jobs to be handled by one person, hence the new changes. Whatever other personal gripes you have with him are yours and his problems, not anyone elses.

$300 may seem like a lot for an support system but seeing as the FlashChat cost $200 I do think this is the way forward and will work great.
Hopefully this will let multiple staff members answer the form to improve the time taken for answers and give an varied responce and maybe even rival the Habbo help tool support.
Tbh, I wouldn't mind being support staff seeing as i'm quite used to do the same task via the PM system as a mod :P.

I think everyone would like to be community staff :P
It's a huge role to take on and I think I know who the manager is and if it is who I believe it is, then it is 100% the right person for the job :D
Well done MAD, you've adopted some great new stuff on here. You're like Roosevelt with his New Deals... (i've been revising American History so please forgive me..)

If its the same person my reliable source tells me it is, I 100% agree with you. However, that sentence is extremely subjective and could mean anything :P
All these forum changes seem really promising, people will still find odd things to moan about though :P My hammer of Thor is ready!

I just wonder where all the money is coming from (other than VIP). Because I thought just VIP alone would just cover costs of hosting lol.
