... If this film is produced I will never watch a film again. Why are you even considering thinking that it's real? Okay lets think about it. I am legend was based on a book. A book that the film basically didn't follow very well but nevertheless it was based on a book - not two books not three books, one single book comprende. It was about being the 'the last man on earth' kind of style. Now lets see, Will Smith blew himself up - regardless of what you think he did and he's dead. Now there was an 'alternative ending' that actually followed the book a little bit more and showed the true morale of the story more stricter to the book. ( that is that will smith's character was infact legend cause he was running around killing the undead type creatures and that he was a legend amongst them creatures, almost viewed like a mass murderer would be. NOT the way he was petrayed as some kind of patroitic 'FOR MAN!' hero. ) Anyway, if someone can recommend me a plot that doesn't involve 'and then I woke up and it was all a dream' attached the end of I am legend '1' then I'll believe you.

Oh and on a site note imo if there going to make a sequel it will a) be terrible b) end up being like 'Lulz but there was actually one guy who kepe the virus in his basement and then he released it again, and then Will Smith was revived by the power of god' hohoh.

One of the most overrated films of recent times. A good well-shot opening followed by a clumsily told story and all hopes of creativity simply thrown away, as well as an extremely clouded narrative. I suggest that you watch the genuinely good adaptation of the novel, The Omega Man, starring Charlton Heston.
