sorry to say, but theres only one thing for your hair and that's GHDS, they don't only make ya hair super straight they make really good curls seriously, and if a curl goes wrong you can go over it, ahaa, they really make the best curls.

I find it such a mission to curl hair with straighteners.
i swear you have to have quite long hair :l
mmmmm :D

When I did hairdressing we were taught to curl with straighteners. You don't need long hair really, it's easy once you get used to it.
And also, ghds are crap, they don't even have the basic things like a temperature dial so they're really bad for your hair.

agreed, i have a pair made by CHS, and they're are miles better than my friend's GHDs

These are pretty good and the thing with heated rollers is that if it does come out too curly then if you tie your hair back for a few minutes the curls relax.

hmmmm ive heard GHD's are bad. They are also very expensive imo. I have babyliss pro 230 atm. I just got a new pair cos they broke.
I really dont get curling with straighteners :l

it's easy to curl with straightners once you actualy get the hang of it, and unlike normal curlers, the curls stay in for absolutely ages and they always look nice with GHDs and of course they are gonna ruin your hair but which straightners aren't?!

I honestly think if you love to curl your hair and do it everyday or something to save your hair you might aswell perm it and see how it comes out, because it saves you time tbh.

uh I find GHDs don't curl my hair for some strange reason, my sister uses babyliss curling wand, I personally think it's the best. Just wrap your hair around it for few seconds and it's done.

Recently i Was In Warehouse && They Were Doing a Special Offer Which i Couldnt Refuse For £110 You Could Buy a Curling Set, Included Is a Heat Proof Mat, Glove, Seperating Comb, && a Curling Tong Which Comes In 3 Different Sizes i Recommend The Smallest One :) . They Heat Up In Less Than 2 Mins, && Very Easy To Use. Simply Twist The Hair Round The Tong && Hold For 3 - 5 Seconds. i Have Very Long Hair (Extensions) But This Doesn't Affect How The Curlers Work In Anyway What So Ever :D && Unlike Most Curlers Due To The High Quality The Curls Last Allday With/ Or Without Hair Spray :D

If You Want To Know What Brand They Are Message Me && I'm Sure i Can Find It Out xxx

straighteners give you better curls than curling tongs & it's quicker.

if you have trouble figuring out how to curl with straighteners, there's loads of videos on youtube which show you.

Yeah use GHD's people who say they're crap are just jealous :P
If you can't afford or just dont want GhD's then make sure they're ceramic plates and not metal.
