I don't see the need in it tbh. No british nations are in it and since this forum is made up primarily of UK/US/CA citizens I don't see how it's meant to be appealing. The colours look odd.

We should've done a "Help China" VIP or something instead that actually meant something.

Well the forum colour is to do with euro 2008 which uses the euro flag

I know what the colours are meant to be but it doesn't hide the fact that the shades don't really blend well together, it's looks garish with the whole EC: thing aswell, you don't see EASTER: written next to easter VIP!

I really fail to see the negativity surrounding this.

If anything, users should be grateful that management consider introducing a new VIP membership and I'm sure that quite a few forum members do actually follow the Euro Cup religiously.

I think the Euro Cup VIP is an excellent idea, at a guess I would say those serious football fanatics from the UK will have found a country to support during this event, this is also good for those members from one of the qualifying countries that may be members here too :)

On topic: What is with all the negative theme going around in this thread, it isn't all about football, think about how many other people smile when finding their team they support win a match? It is just about an event which takes place and loads get involved... just because we are not in it, doesn't mean we can't watch it... some people may want to watch the matches for entertainment like seeing c.ronaldo play :D etc...
