View Full Version : Decent wireless keyboard for OS X

Hey,
I'm looking for a decent wireless keyboard that's compatible with OS X and under £25-30. I would buy an Apple one, however I don't have the money to spend that much on a keyboard. If it comes bundled with a mouse that's great, it can be £45 or under if it's with a mouse. The might mouse is pretty naff tbh.
All help is much appreciated and will get rep!
Nick.

This one is just out of budget, but it comes with a mouse and it's a well known, tursted name. (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Desktop-Bundle/dp/B0001Q17KK)
This one's cheaper and comes with multimedia function buttons. :) Lesser known barnd name, though. (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freedom-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Freedom_keyboard/dp/B0009PRQOO/ref=pd_sbs_ce_img_4)

Yeah, I found a really nice one, but it's £54 but comes with a mouse, might get it though cos it's got that 'mac' look.

The DiNovo Edge is out of the OP's price range and does not offically support Mac OS X.

Please read his post once more. He said "Does not officially support Mac OS X" he didn't say no it doesn't work with it, he said its doesn't officially.

On Play.com it says Windows® 98, 2000, Me or XP. Are you using it on a Mac? What is battery life like for the keyboard and mouse? Does it have a charger bundled with it? How many buttons does the mouse have?
LOL thanks everyone :]

It'll work on Mac, but if it has software eg configurable buttons, the software won't although, they might have a driver on the manufacturer's website, you'd have to ask them.
Whats an american equivelant of play.com ?

What I mean by official is that Logitech officialy supports it working for Mac. For example;

Most USB keyboards do work with Mac, but not all buttons do so.

Ahh, I understand. Always check with the manufacturer as sometimes they release a mac driver afterwards and don't inform the retailers, hence you recieve false information.
