I try to update windows vista on windows update but it says at end in red highlighted 'unable to download'. I got this code 'C0150004'

You should have a look on the Windows Support Forums.
I'm not sure of the diren=ct link, but if you Google it, it shouldn't be hard to find. :)

uninstall DreamScene. Scan your regedit with the find facility and deelete all references to DreamScene.

what I did in the end was rename the file name of softwaredistribution within the windows program to softwaredistribtion.old and added a new folder named softwaredistribution. This worked and let me update windows.
