I went to Youmeo as they're already established and are some of the greatest people I've ever met. For the new site launch there will be a video posted on youmeo.com as they just spent 20 minutes recording it in the office. I have never laughed so much in my life, so why would I exhange having a great time and being paid for it - for a job where I most likely would spend most of my time in meetings with investors and marketing?

It may never rival Facebook or MySpace but it certainly will be a well known brand in the near future. In the past two days we've had numerous multimillionaires walk through the doors discussing investment into Youmeo. It would take me a good few years to get to that point.

So you can get an idea of what our staff are like from that video. That's our marketing manager and a friend of the team who is a radio DJ locally. There is about 20 minutes of pure outtakes of that video from us making John laugh. There is never a dull moment until tiredness kicks in but that's the human body - it sucks :P Also the guy who said he knew the owner - Calum - actually does Calum confirmed it. So whoever was slating him has some apologising to do :P

We have the under dog kind of thing, so we imagine publicity will be pretty big once we're on the map. As most of the team are under the age of 20, where as the big guns such as Facebook and MySpace are made up for late 20's to early 40's. With the expection of the Facebook founder of course :P

To be honest, facebook, myspace & bebo are not as popular as they used to be..
They're slowing down.
Only one growing at this time (imo) is netlog.

I say this is the time youmeo should jump in (this being these couple of months/years), you'll have bigger chance to become more popular.
I see great things in youmeo, not right now but I bet in some time it would do good business.
