In 3.7 there are groups. EX: a TehUpload group.

User-Created Social Groups

To further social cohesion between users and to encourage people to make friends, vBulletin now includes a facility to allow users to create their own social/interest groups.

These groups are enhanced by having their own public messaging system, and the ability to add pictures to the group from user albums.

Would be good in some cases like KKK and the RS clans which I saw earlier, but it would get abused by the new spammers init. Unless groups have to be accepted by management first or something

Well it is user-created groups, so I guess the moderators would be the group owner and selected moderators?

Plus the rules in effect on posting, probably migrate with groups too.

At the moment we've got the basic set up that we know for sure works without any serious bugs, whether the other features are being withheld for further testing or being organised into VIP only features, I'm not sure but I will say that more of these features will be coming soon...

Then this should be checked through by (s)moderators before accepting the group then. I have a group on a different forum :)

That just puts more work on the moderators, I think that if the group is reported then it should be looked at, but just putting it up to the moderators decision to allow a group or not.. no.

Thats easy power abuse.
