Hey,
I just got a new idea for MetiDesigns.
Every customer will get a sub-domain, like: jack.metidesigns.com or something like that.

Am I able to give out these sub-domains, so they can manage them, or do i need to own a hosting thingy?

Best regards,
Meti

What would be the point?

If they don't have their own domains, they could get sub-domains for being customers.

BUT if you going to be buying a layout would you not have a domain?

You can make subdomains, but I dont think you can give them space so they can manage it unless you own a reseller. All you'd be able to do is provide a subdomain and make that link to an area on your hosting for example:

You make the subdomain design.meti.com
It links to: www.meti.com/design/

Hope this answers your question =)

Are you asking if you can give subdomains with webspace that a client can log into?

Yes, you can. But only if you're a reseller or own the server/vps.

Im pretty sure if you had shared hosting you can let them have seperate logins to their space...

You could always make some sort of script.

I suck at making scripts and coding in php.
I only know HTML.

If anyone could help me with this, please do that ;)

YO ALL WRONG!

Ok, not all of you but anyways...

Search on this forum "dynamic subdomains" and do what it says there.

Then do a script that just shows your space k..
