well i havnt been on in a while so i wanted to share with you some designs and logos ive done on 99designs.com (i know i go on about ti but its quite a good site if you like to design stuff). anyway, ive used carbonmade for it so its easier so please take a look and give me your opinions. ive only uploaded a few of them

now i can take criticism, but i dont know where you are looking? please point to where on those designs they are 'dated'. (maybe on the jambuzzer one, i dont personally like this anymore)

There is a new style for web design, mostly clean. All of those designs look like they were designed 5 years ago. The effects, colours and fonts aren't good on the eye and make the whole design look boring and old.

the jamboard one yes, as i said, but what are you on about with the rest. none of the others (meaning the web design and logos) are old fashioned and are clean...

theres a whole 2 designs... one of which i have said doesnt look that good (but looking at the other designs that were submitted, none of them were top notch, they were all dark and digny :P) the other one is clean and makes use of white space reasonably well...

There's a clear difference between school education and learning how to design modern websites. Go buy a book or look at css galleries... google isn't a far type into your address bar.

If you want to compare something, at least make it a fairly accurate comparison.

It would just be like me being a student and someone else (i would say you but you are far from being a teacher) being a teacher and the teacher not giving any recommendations on how to improve their work. Please go to school before you start questioning what i am saying and learn some manners whilst you are their as well. All you do is criticise, its almost all you can do. I'm sure its what they say about food critics... failed chefs

I'm at a school, thank you for your concerns, obviously better than yours if that is your version of English.

They aren't failed chefs. They're chefs that are successful enough to go on and criticise others and give them advice. I'm not a food critic, nor a professional idiot critic, hence why I'm not writing you a report on your poor designs.

I give proper feedback if you deserve proper feedback. If you churn something out your ***, you wont get reasonable feedback as you're not being reasonable by killing the basic concepts of design.

You dont even know me so how do you know if i deserve proper feedback. You clearly do not know the difference between good and bad designs and feedback. and dont you even dare start talking about intelligence... a/a*s at gcse and doing 4 a levels. i reallydont think you should start to criticise anyone before you know them and about their life. I was a member of NAGTY (if you dont know what that is read up on it) and to be quite honest, by the fact you are saying you are 'still at school' implies to me that you are in fact about 13 years old who just sits at their computer criticising anything and everything unless its habbo related (because by the looks of it, thats all you do) You havnt posted any designs you have made so there's no way of us even being able to tell if you are good at designing.

So please, as i said before, have the common courtesy to leave this thread as all you have done is post off topic for the last x amount of posts.

(and if you didnt know by the looks of your posts when you have sentences such as 'So please, as i said before, have the common courtesy to leave this thread' If you have commas or brackets, the sentence is supposed to be able to make sense if you remove the words in the commas)
