Since a lot of people like to customize there posts, different colour, different size etc..

Wouldn't it be a good idea to allow users to set there own default formatting so that we don't have to format each post manually?

It's been suggested many times before and although it would be nice, it would get abused easily such as people choosing bright colours [lime, cyan etc] and setting their font size to 7 and this is why it's not been implemented.

The reason it wasn't implemented is because management couldn't find it anywhere hence they thought it wasn't possible, but I've seen and used it and it is. :)

The above is also a valid point unfortunately!

I used to change the font etc, until I realised how pointless it was.

Well I've always liked this idea. Shame a method of doing this hasn't been found.

Theres a few things needing editing, so I guess they would need to make backups of files if it goes wrong, but it is possible.

In profile options, theres a box which you put in the BBCode you wish for your posts e.i:

[b][size=1][COLOR=red]
Then when you post, it would simply set your default formatting like that :)

Yea, but once it gets fully released, they should work :)

Indeed, and I personally cannot wait. There are some very good add-ons for Firefox.

only because it's still in the RC stage, many developers are still tweaking their add-ons. when it's a stable release is when developers will update their add-ons properly.
