Ok im thinking of buying a new case but one question is it as simple as removing the motherboard or is your motherboard compatible with certain cases

You need to check the standard of your MOBO, it is most likley to be ATX, so you need to find a ATX case (common as muck).

Putting your computer into a new case is basiclly building a new PC. You need to be able to know how to transferr the mobo, you will need to disconnect all wires, then you have to make sure your PSU will fit, put your HDD and DVD drives in, plus then connect anymore fans which come with the case.

If you are not sure what you need to do, then I sense that you will not have the required skill to carry out such an operation.

If its an ATX mobo youll need an ATX case, same for mATX etc... but most cases take ATX and mATX nowadays.

It is simple as long as all the parts fit in the new case.
