I'm doing a drama exam tomorrow, although I'm pretty sure you're only allowed one set of notes for one play in section B? But it doesn't matter for me anyway cus I'm just doing two questions from section A, the Crucible and Twelfth Night :)

I did mine a few months ago, I didn't take any paper in huh? Why do you need paper?
Anyway, just seem very confident when on stage, energetic, keep in character and look like your enjoying it.

You have to do a theory exam for GCSE Drama? Wow, that sucks.
I did Edexcel GCSE Drama this year, and I didn't have no theory exam...

60% of the course is practically theory, 40% written exam and then you have 20% coursework and 40% acting ect..

oh my days.
i prefer my course.
15% 7 hour drama exam on a set topic (ours was disability)
then 15% of coursework on it
then another 15% on a play (ours was lord of the flies)
then 15% on the coursework
then we had to devise a piece of drama, on ANYTHING at all, and that was worth 40%
so much fun =)

What can you write about for drama?

Why different things were effective in a production, what you would do if you were designing, how you would do lighting, costume acting. What was good about various different parts of a production... Quite a lot :)

Maybe they should have a GCSE for drama for people who want to be actors and a GCSE for people who want to do set design or be a playwright.

Well A level splits it up more because you can do Directing courses and acting courses, GCSE is just the foundation for gettin all the general knowledge... :)
