I think aswell as having it as :O it should be :o aswell, because I don't usually type :O I just do :o so, could you re-add that smiley and have it as :o aswell as :O ?

The ":O" and ":P" smileys were both changed to capitals some time because others were complaining about it looking untidy in the list, or something like that I think. It would be easier if both were enabled to keep everyone happy.

The reason it was changed was some people wanted the actual text instead of the smiley, as they didn't like the look of the smiley. However : O looks wierd as text, and :o looks normal and cooler. Thus, since it didn't matter what the smiley shortcut looked like since it would become a smiley : O (sans space of course) became the shocked smiley shortcut. We will keep :o for the people who would prefer not to use the default emote.
