Try Trebuchet MS for the text, I personally think it looks very professional.

I like everything, but the font doesn't look too good.
Excellent

I think you've done what a lot of people on this forum have done.. gone from designing habbo layouts straight to professional in the blink of an eye - it doesn't work.
It looks horrible but there is possible progress that could be made. Changing the font would certainly be a big improvement. Maybe have rounded corner boxes around the nav and on hover they change to a darker/lighter colour.
The 3 boxes could do with a spruce up too as they're just white with some drop shadow..
Take some time to study around professional layouts and you will get a feel for design, theres a thread on here posted by Mr.Sam, check it out.

The part with the boxes looks too bland, also add something to spice up the content area.

Well done sir! You've just killed a style of design, by diving head first into the deepend when you cannot swim. :eusa_clap

Took me 2 mins (Literally lol.)
Though, you cannot rip this Ollie, like you always do.
You must buy it if you want it.

I can't seem to find the thread - have you got a link?
Also - yeah - that's true, i've never done any non-Habbo layouts before, so this was kind of my first one. I'm not trying to sell my work to anyone, it's just to get on a course at college.

Sorry, do I know you? I'm very basic at photoshop and only just started, I only need to make a sort of portfolio for my college application... and what do you mean rip it?
Do you even know who I am? (Not in a celebrity style way). I've never heard of you or spoke to you before, and i've never ripped anything in my life before.. so what gives? O_O
I personally dont like it that much because if you are a graphics designer, it doesnt really show what you can do so wouldnt put that much faith in the clients on you delivering. I would say that you need to rethink the concept of what you are doing. The font that you used will not be able to be seen by everyone. The classic fonts that everyone (well nearly everyone) can see are arial, times new roman, verdana and i think trebuchet.
you need soemthing that will attract people to your website so a splash of colour on it would be great. I personally quite liked that screenfluent website (http://screenfluent.com/) which is where i took inspiration from for my small portfolio here (http://www.cheatssource.co.uk/showcase/online/)
To Joshuae, i didnt like the one you made... its too dark :P
it's graphic design, not graphics design.
Hmm. Looks allright for your first try (if it is) =)
Continue trying, and you'll learn ;)

Sorry but that attitude may work on Clubhabbo but I can assure you that you won't get far in the web dev section here with that sort of attitude.
The layout itself is far too simple, the only good think about it is probably the logo at the bottom (Which it self is quite basic).
For inspiration try using the links on this site that Sam posted:
