View Full Version : Feedback + rule
I am pleased with the recent changes but I am still against ONE thing.
That is... I think it would be a good idea to make a rule, so that people can't ask for money etc... to borrow.
I have came across numerous threads asking for money to borrow and then saying "I will give it back"
I even seen 1 saying they will give £10 interest
This can prevent ANY scamming and also it can teach people to get a damn job. lol.
Views?
he has a job but cant wait til tuesday lol
it should be a rule though.

At thread, meaning in general tbh.

I'll back him up here because although I can't actually find any threads, I know there are a few made each week and it is becoming quite a problem because it encourages scamming.

dw I find them :)
Read my edit Catzsy please :)
Alot of threads are asking for £1 and not in spam section, I did find some in spam section but that can easily be a joke. Just creating them in "web market" etc... explaining is just quite annoying.

There's no need to ask for money. If they're that desperate they should go get a job.

True say, the only reason why I think it would be "okay" if it was for charity but there again I wouldn't trust them except hxf december vip etc...

Okay well lets see if there are any other examples and what other members think. Having said that people do trade anything on here at their own risk as is explained in the trading forums. If someone asked to borrow £5.00 off me I do not think I would even entertain it unless I knew them pretty well and knew I would get it back.:)

The rule would be pointless. It's common sense to know that you shouldn't lend money to people you don't trust 100%. On the other hand there are actually people out there that are stupid enough to do it.

No need for a rule, people know its their own risk to give money to any member, and know only to give to trusted people. Pointless rule imho.
I agree
Should be mae a rule as this will definately prevent any possible scamming.

There could be a rule, but instead of doing that you could add a Term and Condition saying that HabboxForum isn't liable for any scams involving money etc.

Urgh, stop suggesting pointless rules, the idea is to combine or scrap some, not make more which not many people will bother reading through :$
It's common sense, as people have said. If people ask for money, then people who will trust them will give them the money hoping for it back at some point. In most cases, people are only asking for 10p, not alot really "/

Does it really matter? If you don't like the threads, ignore them.

As Alex said there is a stickie at the top at the top of each relevant forum that deals with trades etc.

If anybody feels there is a another forum where this should go please let me know.
Menanwhile I will enquire if in addition, it is felt that something should also be included in the T&Cs and reply back when I have an answer. Thanks :)
