I am planning on buying a forum [vBulletin] off the official site but I can sadly admit I know absalutely nothing about them. Is this how it works: You can buy an owned license for £100 which means you own it forever and this also includes a website that the forum will be on. +Rep if you can tell me if I am right or tell me exactly how it works.
Thanks
Alex

No it doesnt include hosting/domain. It's literally just the license.

Could you explain it in a little bit more detail please?

You own the license for the version you purchase, you then get free updates for your first year which means you can download new versions (upgrading to 3.7 from 3.6). After your first year have to pay about £20 a year for the updates.

So then with it downloaded on my computer I would then have to buy a website which I could put the forum onto? Sound's like a piece of cake so far :D
