My controller that came with my Premium broke, turning itself off with fresh batteries, not turning on atall etc, so I bought a new one and rung MS, 10 minute phone call, they're sending me 2 free wireless controllers, woo.

The controller that came with my Elite is really pissing me off, the backs don't clip on properly and everytime I put the pad down to talk on MSN or something it disconnects and it disconnects if I move it too quickly I don't really wanna buy a new controller so what did you exactly say to Microsoft?

It depends on whether the xbox 360 has warranty on it.
If so, you pay nothing, microsoft repair or replace it free of charge.
However if it isnt in warranty, you're most likely looking at a £70ish bill

Was he indian? if he was i had the same guy. all he said was "change the betterys" restart xbox press there connect button on the xbox and controller.

He kept repeating the same thing then after I explained that the controller wouldnt sync with the console even with new battery's he said "Sorry I do not understand, have you tried new battery's" Took me 10mins for him to finally understand. Game has a re-call on them so I cant buy one at the mo :( I suppose I could ring up and say it keeps going onto low signal but when I tried my mates adapter on my xbox it worked fine, so it must be a problem with my adapter. Then I could say that ive thrown it.

There's lots of recalls on the wireless adaptors as there was recently a dodgy batch.

I'm tempted to set my sights high and try for a wireless racing wheel, but they are £70 and there was recently a recall on the racing wheel's so they'll probably just say to send it them.

Took me about 6 phone calls but ive finally got myself a free wireless network adapter from them :)

I told them this: My current one showed very low connectivity and often disconnected, the shop closed down that I bought it from so I couldnt return it, I only just found out about this support number, I have thrown the adapter away as there was no where to return it to, I tried my friends adapter in my xbox and his worked fine however mine did not.

Was a very gruelling amount of questions I had to make up answers to on the spot but she agreed to send me one free of charge within 10days :D :D WOOP

Just a word of advice, if your trying for a wireless adaptor, don't do what my friend did. He said he hasn't been able to get on Xbox live for weeks, when he gave them his serial number they could read him like a book. It shows the gamertags and when they were last online the console, one of them was online at that very time!

Just ring them yourself and say it is really slow at loading things up, you have deleted everything off it but it still has problems, they will proberly tell you to send it back but dont, they will proberly just send you a new one anyway. Also say its in warranty(under a year old)

Lol, they knew about my controllers as he said did you call about controllers and I said yeah. Basically I just told him that it wont sync to any quadrant and if it does I cant hear anyone and they cant hear me. He asked for my XB serial no. and a datecode on the headset itself. I said I cant see one and he said OK send it back to us for repair, (some say this some dont, some will just say we will send you one) so I hung up, and got an email saying I had one being dispatched to me, and it arrived today.
