Hey everyone,
At Habbox sometimes after much debate and decisionmaking we decide to give something a test run, and when we commit we try to make it work. However certain things just won't work out and the Council seemed to be one of those things.
With the advent of the Community Support Team, management has decided that the Habbox Council would merely be a less powerful version of the Community Support Team. We have decided that it is in the best interests of the users to put all our effort into making sure the Community Support Team works as opposed to dividing our attention between the Community Support Team and the Habbox Council.
We apologize for not letting you know sooner, I know the Council was in a state of flux for a while, but with members of senior management currently less active we've had a hard time being able to meet up and decide to scrap the council.
I'd like to thank all the Council Members who put in an effort in their time, it was not meant to be I suppose :P Also thanks to Sammeth who started the original idea of a Council, or was at least the beginning of the successful movement of the council. Thanks also to sierk and MAD who took over the council when I stepped down from my position as Council Chair (I guess it comes full circle, I started it and I'm ending it now :P)
Its not a huge loss because now we have a new and improved and totally different version in the form of the Community Support Team in the hands of the extremely capable Catzsy who I am sure will make it a brilliant success.
So thanks to everyone and have a great day ;)
