People need to give reasons to why she isn't the lead singer in PCD. Her talent is raw and her vocal ability excells Nicole's. M deserves more parts than she is given in songs, if not leadership/fronting the band.

She is good but she sounds like shes shouting a bit and it isn't that unique but yeh she has talent.

If she were trained better and more consistent (some PCD performances shes AMAZING, and others she's just okay) then I reckon she could go far as a solo artist but she's a bit too high pitched and Nicole has a more deeper tone so I'm guessing that's why she's lead and because she has more experience. I mean, she has a solo deal with Interscope already so I'm guessing she'll release after Doll Domination but if Nicole couldn't crack it I'm worried Melody won't be able too.

She better get more vocals on the new album, PCD would be NOTHING without her, her parts on the tracks greatly improve the songs IMO (eg. Bite the Dust) & as Carmit's left her and Jessica are doing live vocals for Carmit's part which means more Melody :D

Another good thing is that PCD's label ACTUALLY LISTEN to the fans. Note how we all complained about WIGU being just Nicole and the vid version has the other girl's doing the chorus. Hopefully they'll listen up and realise we want more of the other girls - that's the main flaw and EVERYONE says it so they better take note.

I have a feeling we'll get more Jess & Melody.

Well if she isn't going to be full lead, she should definitely be co-lead. A voice like hers needs to be heard in their songs, because there are hardly any songs where the girls get their own solo verses, apart from Beep anyway and they consist all of 10 seconds. I don't understand why Nicole's voice is so valued, her vocals aren't excellent and there isn't anything special about them either. She tries pushing herself to the climax of high notes and reaches mid-point. She doesn't need to do the high notes because Melody can cover them perfectly without fault.

I'm confident that Melody could crack a solo album, but only if she was given more of a push in the band, if she was given more limelight rather than letting her magnificent vocals be substituted for Nicole's mediocre ones.

Shes an extremely talented signed, I think she should definately be given a more vocal part in the band (Yeah, Imo, she is better than the lead singer but shh!!)

Yeah but Melody doesn't have a common appeal, her voice is too high pitched, and Nicole is a lot more consistent even though some of her performances (mainly WIGU) aren't that strong.

Her & Carmit were considered co-leads, so now I'm guessing her and Jessica will be considered co-leads, but agreed she needs more parts. Melody's only valued for her ad libs despite the fact that she can sing well in the lower register as well. She should be given a few verses here and there.

I agree that sometimes she sounds a bit shouty. I didn't expect her to have a voice that good though lol.
