Reputation Problems

Over the past couple of weeks, i have seen numerous people get annoyed by the fact that the reputation they have recieved is pointless yet it isnt removed. Can i just say that firstly, surely negative rep promotes negative behaviour? And also, i have 2 bad reps which to be honest are pointless, one of which was because i said something that didnt sound like it was a joke but it clearly was and the other was because i was 'off-topic' and apparently hijacking.

When reporting a post, you can include a comment and both times i did explaining why they should be removed but tbh, i feel like they go unread and the person checking doesnt even go into the thread to see if it was pointless. Another reason taht i have brought this up is because a week or two ago, i had been repped with the comment RANDOM REP! :) yet when i reported the post above that, neither that or the completely random rep was removed. I mean, it must have been clearly visable to the person editing that it should have been removed aswell (This is positive rep btw).

So anyway, i hope some of you agree that its a bit stupid how the posts just get deleted with no sign of them even checking your rep. A comment thats left their for a couple of days would be nice like how the ifraction thread is done. At least then you know its been checked and you can fight your battle.

That comment had to be left there for evidence unfortunately. It would have been removed if the user had not received significant punishment for it.
The Reputation Problems thread states that you are to PM me if your post has been removed and you would like to know why your reputation hasn't been removed. I am happy to explain to the best of my ability why it hasn't been removed. :)

ok would you be able to PM the reasons then because both are unnecessary :P

But still, its good to know that it has been read and to get some sort of feedback from the person who edits (im unsure if its just you or a team ie. S. Mods)
