It's easier just to block images hosted on the Google Ad server, A shame you can't block Flash ads that way :(

Since it's not offensive or against the rules it won't be blocked. If it bothers you that much then I recommend you download the firefox add-on which will block the advert for you.

I do but I'm on my Grandmas laptop, and I was viewing the Announcements forum and I just thought it might be of help to management to block such ads.

Not what you search, but usually the content you're looking at - which is why you always get the Runescape ads in the Runescape forum. I also got an advert for dating Jews when I was viewing a thread posted by Jewish Bear.

Nothing wrong with it. It's not exactly a big deal. If my mum saw an advertisement on my screen saying "Meet Single Arabs", I don't think she'd care and if she did I would show that it's only an ad. Gaydar, for instance.. would be slightly more awkward.
