It seems the evition this week has been cancelled..

www.channel4.com/bigbrother

The nominated boxes around Mario and Alex are gone and the phone lines are gone.

I doubt it's cancelled, probably just an error because they've already taken phone votes so they would have to refund everyone. They have no reason to cancel it anyway.

edit: it has been cancelled.

This week's lines are closed...
This week's phone vote has been cancelled.

The only reason why they would have been closed is that Alex or Mario have walked (which seems unlikely), there's an error with phone lines or OFCOM is investigating ;)

Its a stunt to keep Alex in like they did with charley and the "fake eviction"

Or she's been kicked out ;) Either her or Jen...

1 of three reasons i would think...
1. Someone has walked, not just alex or mario
2. As someone said, OFCOM
3. Their has been an error in the counting of votes or phone lines had gone down for 1 person

its either

- Alex is getting evicted due to many warnings
- Stephanie going back in (there was something about an error in the voting lines last week due to Mario's apparently being shut early)

I cant really see Alex or Mario walking, and Mario

Also if someone other than Alex or Mario has walked, they will still do the eviction later on this week, they will just replace the housemate later on. If some other than Mario or Alex has walked it wont effect if they get evicted!

From ofcom site:

Ofcom has received a number of complaints about the current series of Big Brother, broadcast on Channel 4. Ofcom is aware of viewer concerns and the issues raised by complainants. Ofcom is currently monitoring the situation and will decide on whether to launch an investigation. Please note that we will not be able to respond to individual complaints. To let us know your views you can register your complaint on our system (http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/progs/specific/?itemid=286480).

It has been confirmed on BBLB but only the phone lines are closed so that could mean the eviction isn't.

Its a stunt, they want Alex kept in.

Lol anyways, gutted if she stays in another week she will be wiping it in the housemate's faces, smug.

Alex has been called to the diary room in one of those evil voices. Wonder if she'll get kicked out due to the number of complaints?

Housemates know that it has been cancelled. They are talking about a replacement.

No, its even in Heat Big Brother had put a final say..
"We are not throwing Alex out of Big Brother till she get's evicted."

Someone posted a thread earlier saying there was a rumour that Alex had walked so it's looking increasingly likely.

But that's heat.

Ofcom have put a message on their homepage about the complaints that have been received. So it is a possibility that she is getting kicked out. But then the eviction isn't that far away so it would be a bit pointless.

I doubt they'll throw her out, its not fair anyways.
An people like to complain because they have no lives, Big Brother havn't made any hints of throwing her out and even in various magazines they have said there not.
We'll just wait and see.

Ye but if offcom order it then they order it, big brother wont have much say on the matter.

N-Dubz

If they ordered it then it would have happened by now, from the very start when everyone was complaing over the chips - nothing seems to have happened at all yet.

An I doubt they'll throw her out, its getting views but yes if ofcom order it then they'll have no say, but for Big Brother to confirm she's not getting chucked out they must have been told already that she's not going to be.

"Channel 4 has dramatically cancelled this week's Big Brother eviction phone vote.

TV chiefs would not reveal at this stage the reason behind the sudden decision to close the lines.
Alexandra De-Gale, dubbed the most hated housemate ever, was favourite to get the boot on Friday night.

The decision follows a spate of phone vote scandals, for which broadcasters have been hit with heavy fines, but at this stage whether this has any relation to the Big Brother cancellation remains unclear.

The announcement also follows speculation that housemate Jennifer Clark might have to quit the show to appear in court.

The young mother has been ordered by a court to explain why she did not attend a hearing involving the breakdown of her marriage, according to reports. Clark, 22, missed the case to appear on the Channel 4 show.

If she did leave there would be no need for an eviction this week.

Single-mother De-Gale was facing a public vote on Friday with bodybuilder Mario Marconi in the second eviction of the ninth series.

Ofcom received hundreds of complaints about De-Gale's bullying behaviour towards other housemates.

Last year's Celebrity Big Brother was engulfed in crisis following a racism row involving Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty."

Jennifer has had to leave to appear in court, meaning the house is one person less, meaning no eviction. That is what that article states anyway

Sky news saying Alex has been removed due to physical violence. She hasn't left the diary room yet and it sounded like the voice of the producer that called her. I reckon shes gone.

edit: sky news bit aint true.
