The spore creature creator was released yesterday (I think). It is £5 from stores which you can claim back once you have purchased the game when it is released. The free trial which includes jsut 25% of the game is available for download free from the website: http://eu.spore.com/whatisspore/creaturecreator.cfm. Im currently downloading it so i cant give my review but i will later for you all who do not download it.

This is the supported video cards part of the readme, typical I have ATI Radeon 9200SE >.<

Supported Video Cards
---------------------

ATI Radeon(TM) series
9500, 9600, 9800
X300, X600, X700, X800, X850
X1300, X1600, X1800, X1900, X1950
2400, 2600, 2900,
3650, 3850

NVIDIA GeForce series
FX 5900, FX 5950
6200, 6500, 6600, 6800,
7200, 7300, 7600, 7800, 7900, 7950
8400, 8500, 8600, 8800

Windows:
Intel(R) Extreme Graphics
GMA 950, GMA X3000, GMA X3100

Mac OS X:
Intel(R) Extreme Graphics
GMA X3100
On the Mac, this game will not run on the GMA 950 class of integrated video cards.

Laptop versions of these chipsets may work, but may run
comparatively slowly. Standalone cards that are installed in
vanilla PCI slots (not PCIe or PCIx or AGP), such as some
GeForce FX variants, will perform poorly.

Integrated chipsets such as the ATI xpress 200 and the
NVIDIA TurboCache variants will have low settings
selected, but will run satisfactorily.

Please note that attempting to play the game using video
hardware that isn’t listed above may result in reduced
performance, graphical issues or cause the game to not
run at all.

The NVIDIA GeForce FX series is unsupported under Vista.

its really good. you can customize literally every aspect of your creature. The backbone, backbone structure, mouth dimensions (well any dimensions of anything). Its great. If anyone else has it then post some screenshots of your creations :)

im in a bit of a pickle though, you see in that image i can only see above the bottom bar, so i cant name it save it or whatever. This is because it auto configs to 800X600. Is anyone having the same problem?

nope, the creature creator IS for $10 which you can claim back from the actual game when/if you buy it. Its due for release on September 7 2008. Whther this is true or not i dont know. Im still having problems as i mentioned in post 11 :( alt +enter makes it into windowed mode but i would rather it be full screen
