Well, my dad has got astma and high blood pressure, and i am really scared if i can get it because it passes along through the family. Is there a high chance?

Is there a high chance?Only in mild cases, high blood pressure can't be passed down, but asthma can. There isn't anything bad about having asthma, just go see a doctor.

yeah, its 50/50 about asthma and you can be more prone to high blood pressure but its easy to control and only needs to be worried about if you are overweight etc atm or when you get older.

Genes. depends if its dominant or recessive :)

I was told that high blood pressure is hereditary. You get high blood pressure from too much intake of salt, isn't it? High blood pressure = hypertension?

Cholesterol can give you high blood pressure, and stress amongst lots of other things.
