I like to listen to sadder songs when i'm upset or whatever, jolly ones really annoy me when i'm in that sort of a mood, I just like a song I can listen to the words to and that actually mean something as to why i'm sad.

I dunno I try not to get upset if I can help it lol. When I do there's generally the same music on as before so could be a bit of country, rap, punk, pop or anything really. Classical is quite good as there are some really beautiful pieces that always make me feel more alive.
