well because of the trade limit i think its when u give them so much money or an item as a "deposite" they then give you the item to "borrow" and when you are done with it u give bak the item you "borrowed" and they give back "deposit"

Supposly, you can lend an item to a friend for a certain amount of time then it gets given back to you also.. if you log out at a certain time then the item will get back to you as you as the owner owns it.

i would of thought:

a new trade window but for lending
any item can be borrowed

Person borrowing will be unable to: Drop, lose it, sell it, trade it ect
Person lending will be able to retrive item at any moment, get a deposit for using the item

but then people would just borrow like godsword for bounty hunter and they cant lose it...

Unless they make it so you cannot take into PvP areas.

Hence why you put down a deposit so if you lose it the person keeps the cash
