I have never heard or seen this, what happened with it?

Looking at it, it was never released in Europe just stayed in Japan?

They always release things like that first in Japan as a "Pilot" sale. Although, I wouldn't mind having one, well I wouldn't have minded 4 years ago..

Yeah I saw that on wikipedia a while ago, it looks really good. Could've seen it taking off in the UK. Oh well :( Interestingly, the PS1 is also often referred to as the PSX which confused me like hell when I first read that article :P

I think they may of scrapped it because Sony released a TV computer thing under their computer name, Sony Vaio around 2003. I remember PC World selling a Sony Vaio computer which records off the TV and works with a TV. Might be wrong though :)

I think people call the PS1, a PSX because Playstation xperimental was its codename before it was announced by Sony, much like the Wii was called the Revolution.
Confused me too :P
