Basically I went on habbo and seen a past e-popular so called scripter.

When going in there, I seen people with random drinks etc.. so I was like okay... next thing you know the bots were back... :O

Someone kept asking the person, bring the bots etc... so he/she did.

My point is, does anyone know:

1) How can this be possible, the person was ON HABBO but when viewing his/her homepage it said, the habbo was offline :S? I know these days you can appear offline sort of but I thought that was on console only?

2) Can I get a virus/hacked by visiting the room? (I don't trust scripters)


Sounds silly but this person was just scripting mad and anyways I reported a few times and it never got dealt with :S. (using cfh)

1, no i think it completely hides your status, would make sence

2. They can probably only do things to your shockwave player, apparently something called i hab (suffix rhyms with sticks) can hack you, as they can say what you say just as you say it (like on dr who) so its something to do with shockwave

Best to avoid them :)

And, you cant report more than once at a time now can you? I dunno, anyway, use the help tool instead of CFH

for number 2: oh gosh, every time sum1 posted, such as:

The owner of the room would ask a question then a random habbo answers it, if it was correct then someone else would say well done like less than 1 second and say well done to the "user name of the habbo".

Kinda scary.

E.g.

Main Man: What was the last rare released?
Random person: (answer)
Someone else: Well done to "random person" 2 points...

well, with regards to their homepage, you can select a setting so it can't be viewed, i think its a tick box under your motto and preferences section. also, the Q&A will just be like a trigger mechanism, so like in previous applications, you had things like your habbo would say
a certain phrase when someone else said the trigger word, so you could just do something similar and code an app so that apon seeing X (the correct answer) in the client packets, paste Y into the string 'well done to 'Y', 2 points'

As for bots he's just running the old application off of the new cracked encryption. :)

Your safe, yeh scripting is back, just live with it for a while.

Your not going to gain any virus from that scripter, unless you downloaded a programme which he reccomended, or gave them your details etc.

Seriously, it's probably just a leecher, he probably copied some tutorial.

No there is no way they can hack you if they are just good at scripting, hacking doesn't just happen like that. Hackers usually find out your email and then try to hack your email.
