What do you guys think to this idea?
Being able to save your profile "theme" or customization and then share it with others?
I don't know if it would be possible (you tech guys can help me out here) but I believe it would be a nice feature.
Also, if it does get put into place, what about a forum to do with "Profile Discussions", then we have the ability to share them in there, etc.
I assume if they were saveable they would be in a XML format? (I'm not all techy with forums, I'm just guessing here).
But yeah, overall, I think it would be a nice little feature.

Its an excellent feature, i've seen this been released on a other forum and it is quite decent really, you can put your own background and it is just like making a myspace profile to be honest. Its "Customize Profile" under "Your Profile" which i've seen and tried out and I like this so you don't get a plain profile!

Yeah, but Myspace uses HTML, and thats a huge security risk for habbox. :P

Yeah, HTML coding is definitely a "no go" area.
But since the system HabboxForum use for it at the moment is to do with drop down lists etc, surely that can be extracted into an XML form? (Once again, tech guys...help?).

The idea of a forum, where you can post codes to edit your profile is good, this feature- to edit your profile that is, is only currently available for vvip users.

Yeah I know, I wasn't mainly describing about the type of it, but what it is similar to.

Correct, drop down menu, I've checked it the only thing you can type is the URL to the background. The rest is drop down eg; font family, repeat, border width and size etc.

I wasn't sure where to post this, I thought this idea would be best off here as I know the profile editing is being released to all users soon (I think, unless I'm getting mixed up with the Profile Albums?), so I thought it'd be best to let the community have a good old decision about it.

HTML isn't a security risk at all, JavaScript is ;)

HTML isn't an option for the profiles. It is done using a profile editor. As you can see, me and ---MAD--- have been playing with it :P

Both look awful with no disrespect :P I imagine it's still getting developed?

It wouldn't look so bad if you could change more then just the container.

None taken ;) That's about the extent you can edit it to at the moment. Hopefully vBulletin will add new features for it in the future (such as CSS'ing the whole page).

Yeah, I've seen you play around with it, but it doesn't involve HTML its mainly drop down options and image URL.

Yeah, he's just saying that HTML cannot be put into the profile customization.
