Well, Last night it was my brothers prom and he got a porsche limo (http://www.allworldauto.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/porsche-cayenne-limo.jpg). Right, well, when they first got into the limo the driver didn't check them for alcohol and 5 of the boys managed to sneak a bottle of beer in each. When they got to the school, the police were being very heavy on all the limos for liecenses etc. and the police found all five bottles of beer. Now, the company was fined £3,000 for not checking whether they had it or not! How bad is that? Luckily we didn't have to pay anything because it was the drivers responsibility to check whether they had it or not.
Anything like this happened to you or your mates/family before?
(Was bored so thought I would share this with you. Haha).

Where I come from, you get to the venue (however you wish, tends to be by limo) and you have photos, have a dance/disco, then get smashed at the after party - This is every year when year 11s leave.
That limo is horrid. The kid's should have been fined for underage drinking.

They can't be fined if they haven't drank anything
And police won't go up to em and say you're going to be fined for the posession of alcohol lol

Lmao when people hire limos they don't just ask them to drive them straight to the school lol..... They normally go for a ride for a bit then go to wherever they were going.

When I had my prom me and my friends were thinking of a unique way of getting there, Limo's were too old, same with hummer limo's etc. Everyone seemed to be getting them there. We found this hire shop which hired out the old people motor buggy things for £10 per day. We hired out 10, as there was 10 of us and went in them. It was the highlight of the night, 10 people driving along the main roads in Brighton, pretty much smashed already then turning up at prom.

I think limos and that should be left for the real prom, which is when you leave high school/Sixth Form. I have mine tomorrow at a Hilton Hotel; alcohol is permitted and a few people are arriving by helicopter, aha.
