Habbox Trade Manager

I'm just wondering why a brilliant idea, like the trade manager of habbox hasn't taken off and is widely used?

It would work really well, but only if it used a lot...
I'm sure if you advertised it on the rare value pages you'd get many more users.

I'm guessing that people can't be bothered to make accounts.

I'd say it was the account thing.
If people didn't have to make an account just to advertise it'd be a lot better.
Just punch in a username and what you're selling and you're set.

Trade manager is a brilliant idea yes i agreed that signining up isnt all that good. Maybe if it was intergrated with either joomla login or forum login username and password then maybe it would be a lot easier. Problem is though its quicker to go and trade something in a trade room or trade via the forum that sit around waiting for a reply there, some people use it though it has:

97k isn't THAT much in 2 years considering the site itself has 113k hits in the past month (according to an estimate from http://www.trafficestimate.com)

either way you get that its a lot compared to the trade manager

Yes but how many different articles is there on habbox. 97k hits it a lot :S i dont know any other fansite that would get 97k hits one page. Though it is under used. But like i said before thats because of the constant trading on habbo maybe it should have a banner linking the section.

There's a LOT of pages on Habbox.. and just because it has 97k hits doesn't mean people have used it 97k times. Plus, this is over a period of 2 years.. so that is very low compared to the habbox site as a whole. How many hits a day does that Rare Values page get? I'd say at least 97k.

Its a lot of hits for something that is just there its not a main focus point of habbox unlike RV, but it could do with more

I left a while ago just before its released, and when I came back I tried it although I was dissapointed.

I wish they would promote it and make it easier.

Well after the layout is done ill work on a new version of trade manager and i will take ideas from the posts in this thread.
