Im registering my moms ipod that we got her for her birthday. It tells me to then provide a payment method. I don't want to! She uses gift cards I bought her.

What shall I do?!

Can you screenie the page? I seem to remember you just have to put it in but you won't get charged unless you want to buy using your card....

Go on iTunes store and click redeem on quick links and put int a code for one of the gift cards, you can then register an account if I remember correctly.

Just click "cancel" or something, there is a way to not put payment info in because I did when I registered my Touch.

Above post is right, I did it with my new iPod last week.
Just hit cancel and it'll still be registered. ;D

Just fill that in, you don't have to pay for anything, it is just so that it is easier to pay if you choose to later on :) I filled it in and I haven't ever payed using my account.
