laptops keyboard

like the accents you use with say 1234567890-= and shift are different than on the keyboard and i was told tha the launguage is wrong, and it was it was english (australian) but it wont let me change it back because i need the XP disk and 1. its only temporary so i dont want to go through that and 2 i cba and havent got the disc

any other way of getting around this little problem?

hmm.. have u tried.. control panel > languages?

yes. as theres no launguage options on the keyboard option itself and on the last tab on options its like application language or something i cba checking but i cant change it without an XP disk.
