Ok well I was wondering what you guys think are the worst looking sites out on the internet to this date. I always find this interesting as you can generally learn something from them, in terms of knowing what NOT todo.

I'll start by suggesting the old Myspace. I say the old myspace mainly because of the old and boring style. web 1.0 I would define it as.

Suggest Sites People!

God it's a hard one. I'd say that social network on here called Nivade, the fact they had to use a logo generator to create an identity for the site made me giggle.

Actually, it was fireworks not a logo generator, thanks for the kudos.

In reply to gregs comment : Absolutly agree to that 1000%. Plus the fact the template doesnt even relate to the theme of the site.

And Independent (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=45491) explain http://www.h-master.net/web2.0/image/(reflect)Nivade.png.

It was actually an experiment template whilst we compiled the code, so slate it all you want. :)

Um, believe me it wasn't Fireworks. I've even used the Web 2.0 Logo Generator and it's output was EXACTLY the same when I layered them over each other :P

The logo on the header is created in fireworks, and the one on the login page is a generated logo, which was also created as a space filler, which will be updated on the next version with plenty of other things, I don't make templates too look good, I mainly use them to fill content, I'd be happy to use an empty div as long as I could fit content in there.

GasFMatt stop ******* greg, if you wish to do that can that take place in another thread.

Edit:GassFMatt's previous post, reply:

because Nivade isn't going to be officially popular in any way, it's just a project for me to improve mine and chris's coding abilities, and something to do at school.. and most of the users are impressed currently with Nivade so your the only one I know who hates the template, I agree it's not the best but It will do.

Not really? The critism you're giving me is more of an insult, and your "ganging up" with greg, if he never had posted you'd not have opened your mouth.

I'm not saying you're purposely ganging up,
I'm just saying you two are a bit close, (Not gay.)
More biased to each other.

Actually we discussed it about two weeks ago and Matt nearly wet himself laughing at it. So don't worry it wasn't this thread that pointed it out ;)

Completely agree, asteriks are always the best way to describe a layout. Leaves it up to our imaginations ;)

You don't say! I never knew HxF had a thing called a filter - is that similar to the one in the fish pond? Does it make the text cleaner?

You need to realise that sure I have less posts than you but probably a good few million more brain cells ;)
