everyone has a number and they get scrambled and then people get paired up and then play the person ect. or is it gonna be like point and everyone plays each other?

Everyone in the tourny has to make sure they are going to play. Otherwise it will just cause trouble if you sign up then don't bother playing.

I think it would be better to let everyone play each other because then the people who don't play despite signing up just won't be counted and no one will win by default because of them not playing, therefore it's fair. We'll also get a chance to play everyone, which will be fun.

This is how I think we should do it:
Everyone play each other once or three times, if you win you get 1 point, if you lose you get 0 points. The maximum points someone could end up with would be 10 (thats if 10 people play, it would be 30 if we're playing each other three times), and the minimum would be 0.
The 6 people with the highest scores move on to the next round, the 4 people with the lowest scores are out.
The 6 people remaining play each other again, and then the 4 people with the highest scores move on and the 2 people with the lowest scores are out.
Then with 4 people left, we ramdomly pair them up and the winner of those fights goes to the final round where both winners will fight each other.

We could pair people up from the start but then people fairly new to the game might be paired with a pro, which wouldn't be fair. The way above gives everyone an even chance.

Thats quite unfair on the others if me or Korronos go through to the final by just playing one match. :P If I don't get the game in time that means Korronos goes to the final without doing anthing. See how unfair that is? :P You should do it the way I said on the page before this. That way it's fair for everyone and everyone gets to play everyone so we really can find out who is the best Brawler on the forum.

Happy about final destination though, that's my best stage. :8 Items are a bonus, I usually take advantage of them but it's no loss if they're not there. Hopefully Brawl is just like Melee so I can pick it up and go straight away.

I bought my Gamecube and a copy of Melee the first day it was released and have never sold it or traded it in, I always play it often. It's definitely among my most played games of all time. Yeah, I got it.
I unlocked a **** load of stuff and completed 50% of the subspace emissary at my mums only to find that you can't save Brawl data on an SD card. So now I have to do it all again on my Wii. :P

As long as I have Luigi you're dead though. I'm a beast with Ike as well.

Although I quite like single player (mainly for it's cut-scenes) I can see it getting repetitive, the stage builder lacks content (but atleast there is one), almost every match in classic mode is the same, online against random people is almost unplayable, only 5 target stages instead of every character having their own unique one like in melee, the total screen at the end of every classic match looks very cheap... My first impressions were that it isn't in the league that melee was, but thats probably because I tried online straight away and was not impressed. However, now I've played it in depth, I realise that it is a pretty decent game and very enjoyable with friends. I can list a few things bad about it like I have done above, but for all the bad things there are good things, such as new and more characters, new items and moves, new modes and challenges, a lot more multiplayer content, etc.
Even though it has its flaws, I do indeed like it. Very much. :D I think it will bring me just as much fun as Melee did in the long run, but I'll wait a month or two before comparing them. :P

What? Are you a moron? I am buying the anime so what are you on about 'I prefer to just watch the anime' :S Plus what do you mean 'what's different' and 'don't you already know what happens'. Nothings different, apart from the extra DVD features and the 4 omake theatre shorts (woo) and of course I know what happens, I have seen it before but only once. Are you saying it's pointless buying it because I've already seen it and nothings different? Thats like saying it's pointless buying a film on DVD if you've seen it in the cinema! Nah, I'm on about the DVD volumes. The manga only has two volumes which are only available in Japan and they were never translated to English. I have both volumes on my computer though, fan-translated. :P

The manga doesn't follow the same story as the anime by the way, it's more like a few short comedy stories. It's very good! :D

I prefer to watch anime on DVD rather than watch it online. I'd only watch an anime online if it wasn't on DVD, I wasn't sure whether it was good or not, or if it's a long on-going series like Bleach or Dragonball Z.

Also, if a series has an anime and manga, such as Death Note, it's worth buying both because they're both a different experience, plus theres usually a few differences between the two anyway, so it's not like it's exactly the same.
