Buttons a peado??

I heard a while ago that Buttons got banned but didn't know the reason. I found out today that it was for "posting child porn" (a pic of plefe half naked). Plefe is 3 years older than her so how the hell is it child porn?! :S

She didn't actually post it on the forum, she sent it in a private message.

I'm not discussing the ban, I'm discussing the ban reason. It's feedback, I'm just saying how harsh it is. Private messages are supposed to be private so what she does in private is up to her.

The fact that she is 3 years younger than the girl whos photo she gave out is just laughable. Can you imagain a 10 year old going to prison for looking at images of a 18 year old in a porno. :S

So say i had pics of your girlfriend who was 14 years old, and i'm 13, It is still called child porn, and members spreaded it around, therefore, it could also been bullying!

there were multiple threads where people were asking for the photo to be sent to them following those threads pms were checked and bans issued.

Firstly, apologies to Jess for posting in a thread she closed.

Secondly, specific cases are not discussed over the forum, if she wants to appeal she can do it through the appropriate channels.

But to answer your question, posting an indecent picture of an underage person is posting child porn whatever your own age, you can't claim it isn't because you happen to be of a lesser age. Posting any sort of porn on the forum warrants a perm ban anyway, so whether it was child porn or not is kinda irrelavent. Also, as cocaine said, any picture distributed through the forum in any way: public, PM or otherwise, gives us more than enough evidence and reason to ban the user. Despite whether its public or not, we still have an obligation to keep the forum free from any such images.
