The stereotype of a model is that they are really tall and really skinny so I rckon you need to have some height on you, yeah.

My friend was the same height as you, at 14 shes now 18 and is 4 ft 11.
Oh and to answer the modeling thing most of them don't take on short people as they want tall people that have "Sexy long legs".

i'm sure a normal local agency will take you on, and you've got nothing to lose so look in your yellow pages for your nearest modelling agency
but unfortunately the top top national modelling agencies usually require women to be around 5ft 8 - 5ft 10
..unless you do body part modelling
hope I helped

My friend was about 4 ft 10 at 14... Few years later; she's still 4 ft 10...
Models are usually quite tall... Much taller than 5 ft, but that's just modelling in general, I'm sure there's a variety of other options that could suit you.

For catwalk modelling you have to be 5ft8+. Anything else doesn't matter much.

LOL@that comment.
It depends on the person employing you - Its a matter of opinion, as others have said.

My sister had this problem, lol.
If you really want to "model" then Glamour Modeling will be for you, as recommended to my sister as she is very tiny for her age. Unless you grow of course.
Depends. If you want to be a catwalk model, you need to be like 6ft. But if you just want to be photoshoots etc, 5'6" to 5'9" is good.
