TehUpload Application - No Longer Works

Okay it comes to a time when things need upgraded.

I have upgraded the server to a UK server, as well as went from Apache => lighttpd.

The server appears to be running much faster, without the annoying overhead that Jaxer had.

Well since these updates were a success, and DNS is currently propagating, the application will not work.

After the DNS is done propagating, it still will not work. This is due to the fact that our application and site structure has changed.

When the site comes back on, feel free to download the new BETA version of the TehUpload application (v2.0.1 BETA) from our site, which includes a brand new installer system.

This way it updates without me having to upload a new compiled ZIP.

When the DNS is done, feel free to download. I am not sure how much longer it will take to propagate.

Hence why I am working on it :) I'll post when there is a new update. I also have an updater on the server so that all you have to do is download the updater.. and anytime I release an update.. just run it.

On windows xp, when i used the website screenshot it crashed and when i capture the screen it says its uploaded, but when i copy the image url it says 404 - not found.

Do you have Internet Explorer installed? That may be the problem.. ick.. I might need to remove that out of the application.

It is because the server has returned an error:

"The remote server returned an error: (417) Expectation Failed."

I'll work on it, it is on the server side of the application. Give me ten minutes.

When I take a screenshot of a certain area and upload it (privately) the image doesn't work, it shows a red X. I try the url in my browser and it says "404 - Not Found" :(

I realized the problem was with the webserver (lighttpd and the expect header), so I have turned that off in the application.

I'll be releasing an update here in a moment, and will post a link to the update installer.

I need to add background workers to the upload files page.

I have included a few new features into this little update:


Update Check (Help -> Check for Updates)
Disabled Website Screenshot (for now)
Added background workers instead of invoked threads.

Well due to the fact that a user decided to spam my server with over 50,000 requests every five seconds, I have had to take a few extra measures on the program.

An update will be released soon, and you can use the check for updates tool to find out.

why does it say "Welcome to TehUpload, here you can upload as many files as you want. Each file is limited to 10MB." when you can only upload images? saying files could mean any type..
