I don't know if i am the only one with this problem or if it has been told before, but i find it very annoying. It would be a basic fix that takes maybe 10 minutes at the most!

Basically the problem is if i type ":o" it won't show the :O face, but i would have to type ": O".
It is the same for ":p", you have to type ": P", so you get the :P face.
And for :S, you have to type ": S" because ":s" doesn't work.


I know it isn't very big, but it is annoying having to edit my posts just to show the little faces.

Someone had already brought this up (e5 I think..) and basically;

You're already pressing SHIFT while pressing ; so why not just keep it there when you're pressing O or P?

But I agree, they should change it and add the new shortcuts too.

The reason was that some people prefer to use :o "as is" without the smiley image. So :O was the one for the emoticon.
