Mobiles don't have an area code. If you were phoning, for instance 07123456789 from another country it would be +447123456789 since you replace the 0 at the start with the international code.

Country Code
(Find My Code)

Area Code

Phone #

Hmmm, i left it blank and it wouldn't work!

Edit, I keyed in the first 3 numbers of my number and pressed dial. Nothing as of yet, seems someones getting rick rolled atm!

As Nick said, you have to replace the first "0" with a "+44". This goes for mobiles or house phones.
If your house phone number was 990990 then you couldn't simply go "+44990990", you'd have to type in the area code too (example: 01122), this would then change your number to +441122990990.
Hope that makes sense..

Area code is just for a landline.
For a mobile you just replace the 0 with +44.
If it was a landline, it would be +44 01872 652802, (international code, area code, number).

area code for mobile is like the first 5 digits isnt it? like say ur number was 07781412456 then ur area coe wud be 07781, so like everyone thats on ur network has the first same 5 digits, but like when u add the +44 i think u get rid of the 0 so its like +44 7781 412456

ohh. I think i've got it. (im testing it on my mobile atm - haven't had a call yet though).

Country Code: +44
Area Code: First four numbers after "0".
Number: Last six numbers.

Ahh, you have to wait 30 mins during each call I think.
