Look for music shops around where you live, much better if you can play them first, then once you know the guitar you want, search around for a good price, often online ;) but find the guitar first is my advice :)

ok cheers :) i just want an acoustic guitar, nothing fancy or special, i looked around amazon but they're about £80 :S

You can get them from Argos, it probably won't be good enough to rock out with but for something to learn on as your starter, it could be worth it?

Well, since it's Argos I'm guessing they aren't really amazing guitars but if all you want to do is play a few songs/practice and what not, then it'll be fine and cheaper maybe? Haven't checked.
