Habbo going 3D?

I posted this thread because my mates keep saying that abbo's goin 3D like runescape :), do any of you know anything about it?

It originally surfaced when clips and images became available of an apparent 'beta test' of Habbo 2. It showed 3D rooms and stuff and actually looked visually appealing, bare in mind this was years ago. Anyways, i imagine the clips are still on youtube. I can't comprehend Habbo changing now after so long, i think they realise they would lose a large userbase who enjoy the graphics.

They have already lost users due to the current updates, just think how many more they would loose if it was 3D.

There's more chance of the client been removed than 3D tbh.

im sure someone at sulake said habbo is 2d for its graphical style. And there very right, if it went to 3d it would lose alot of its shading and detail which would make it look terrible.

The images of 'habbo 2' were not 3d, many of you are using the term 3D in a very incorrect conext.
